You guys, it’s grilling season and you know what that means. Time to pull out, dust off , and get your outdoor kitchen ready. Okay, some of us might not be so lucky with having an outdoor kitchen, but it’s still time to spark up that grill and get her ready. I know for myself, grilling is something my family and I do year-round. Even when we lived up north, my gas grill would be ready to use in the middle of the snowiest winter. We loved it! But being a Florida resident, I know one thing that is for sure, when it comes to grilling, we do not play around. -And, when we bring the taste of summer year-round to our dinner table, aged cheddar cheese is better!
My perfect example of grilled perfection is, an All-American Cheddar Burger. Oh yeah, it’s a grilled masterpiece and I’ll be sharing a secret about it later on.
The first time that I purchased a package of Black Creek® Extra Sharp White Cheddar Cheese was when I was shopping at my local Publix store. I found it right in the fresh cheese aisle. What made me consider this award-winning Black Creek® premium Cheddar Cheese, is where they were located. You guessed it, Wisconsin. Black Creek® Cheese is in an area of Wisconsin that is known for it’s rich soil, and picturesque pastureland.
I’ve also learned that Black Creek® Cheese is aged for up to three years which makes my favorite Black Creek® Cheddar Cheese have a pleasant sharp and complex flavor profile that is both rich and nutty.
I believe that the only issue my family has is deciding if we want melted, or crumble pieces of Black Creek® Extra Sharp White Cheddar Cheese on our grilled hamburgers. I know, it’s a tough decision.
An All-American Cheddar Burger begins with making hamburger patties with cheddar cheese. That’s my secret weapon. To get more of my favorite cheese flavor, I always add extra cheddar cheese when I’m making my hamburger patties by hand. When it comes to my opinion of an All-American Cheddar Burger, fresh bakery hamburger buns are a must! Do you know what else is? Bacon, oh my goodness yes! Crispy slices of bacon topped over a cheesy hamburger with fresh romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and red onions.
