Sparkling Ice

Our summer temperatures have arrived here in Central Florida and the weather has been hotter than hot! So hot that between the high daily temperatures and high humidity, the weather makes it feel so unbearable and uncomfortable for most of the time. As we know, being outdoors in summer can be brutal no matter where you live or vacation. It’s the time of the year that we can expect rising temperatures but boy do we look forward to feeling some relief.

Being outdoors day after day in this brutal summer heat is not something that I would do without being hydrated. Staying hydrated is extremely important to your body while dealing with constant hot temperatures. -And you would think, after an afternoon summer rainstorm that you would feel some relief but that’s not the case at all. It’s brutal and all you want is a refreshing drink to have by your side.

When I’m out with my family, I always make sure that I pack a small cooler full of Sparkling Ice– Naturally Flavored Sparkling Water. It’s my favorite drink that I can easily pack for a quick road trip to a beach, a staycation nearby or a classic picnic at the park. It contains the fun fizz that the kids love.

What I love about Sparkling Ice is that they’re made with zero sugars, and have vitamins with antioxidants. This naturally, fruit flavored water makes me so happy to see my family choose to drink it over canned sodas or a sugary fruit juices. Sparkling Ice gives a refreshing taste that you don’t mind drinking daily. My favorite Sparkling Ice flavors are Kiwi- Strawberry and Lemon Lime.  They’re both so good. Have you tried them yet?

Sparkling Ice Kiwi-Strawberry tastes amazing in an adult or a non-alcohol summer cocktail.  Summers are not the same without my frozen Kiwi-Strawberry Margaritas. Not only are they refreshing to drink but they taste so good when I’m adding Sparkling Ice to the recipe. Hands down – the Best!

What’s even more amazing is that you don’t need any alcohol to make a frozen Kiki-Strawberry Margarita. Of course, if you wanted, it would be a great way to serve a skinny cocktail too but it’s nice to know that you have options.

Another idea to keep the kids happy and cool this summer is making homemade frozen Kiwi-Strawberry popsicles. My children, especially my daughter absolutely loves making them for herself.  Super easy to do and I can’t blame her one bit, I love them too!

Another adult friendly summer cocktail that works perfectly with Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime is my favorite Mojito Lemon-Lime Cocktail. It’s refreshing and full flavored of citrus. If you’re looking for a light, fizzy, lemon-lime cocktail for the weekend then this one is it!

As you can see, there are so many options when trying to cool down this summer or when taking a break from the summer heat. Chose a refreshing summer cocktail and make the best tasting frozen popsicles that are healthy and contain fresh strawberries and kiwi fruit.

You know what is the best feeling to have? Not feeling guilty or counting the calories. I can still enjoy a refreshing cocktail this summer.
