My children are entering their third month of school already and it’s been a whirlwind for this mom! Days are flying by don’t ya think? Finally, they get a few days off from school and I get that “Mom, I’m bored” look. You know that look don’t you? In my mind, I’m saying how can you be bored? You finally have a day off to relax and play, How can you be bored already? I just don’t get it!

You would think by keeping them active with sports and after school activities would completely drain them on the days they don’t have school but of course this is one of those days when they are full of energy.

Luckily for me, I was able to keep my daughter occupied with the NEW LeapFrog Epic™ Tablet.

In my opinion, LeapFrog’s newest Android tablet for kids is an entertainment mecca for keeping the kids busy and happy. Children can play games, explore on kid-friendly apps, use their imagination and create their one of a kind educational tablet that grows when they do.

LEAPFROGEPIC

It’s the first children’s tablet with a playable game based home screen that allows them to view real time weather and time. You can also create some animated fun by adding birds that chirp, hot air balloons, moving vehicles and more!

Setting up the epic tablet was quite easy since I previously set up a LeapFrog account for my daughter and also established a parental account.  It only took a few minutes of my time and she was ready to go.

LeapFrog Epic™ Tablet  has a 7 inch Capacitive Touch Screen, 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor, 1024 x 600Pizel LCD Resolution, 16 GB Memory, Micro SD Card slot, Rear & Front 2MP Camera and Kid-Friendly Wi-Fi capabilities that are parental controlled.  This new generation of a learning tablet by LeapFrog, brings to you  what all parents are looking for in a kids tablet.

Included in the box you’ll also receive 20 Apps, a Protective Bumper, USB Adapter, Attached Stylus Pen and Wall Charger.

LeapPad Epic™ Tablet is recommended for children 3 to 9 years old and since it’s web safe right out of the box, kids will find the freedom to discover EVERYTHING that the epic tablet has in store for them and parents have that peace of mind of not hovering over to watch their every move.

One of the features that I love with the LeapFrog Epic™ Tablet is the LeapSearch engine. Kids have the ability to watch kid-friendly videos, games and even browse through the categories.

I love seeing my daughter explore in science and even geography. How amazing is this! Learning about cities, countries Plus she’s having a “ball”  in the interactive world games. It definitely sparked my daughters interest.

I will say, each time my daughter picks up the LeapFrog Epic Tablet, It makes me so happy. I know she is learning and having fun at the same time. She becomes so curious and is eager to learn more.

For me, just when I think I’ve seen it all, LeapFrog does it again! You know what’s pretty awesome? When your a parent and see your child learning. It’s such a rewarding feeling!

I am glad you shared this. My grandson is 15 months. I have no idea what to get him as toys. I will look in to leapfrog to see if they have anything right for his age range.

Leapfrog products outlast the kids and are fun as well. I have depended on Leapfrog many times for rainy days or sick days.

Leapfrog makes such great products! My grandkids have had several of their products over the years. I love how they make learning fun.

I have been implementing shortened screen time during the week by spending time with my children outdoors. I'm not sure what we will do in the winter but for now it works. My daughter had a Nabi and it just broke out of the blue so I am on the hunt for something educational and age appropriate for her, I am going to be checking out the Epic to see if it might be a good fit, as I do not want to purchase another nabi seeing the issues that we've had with it.

We loved everything Leapfrog when our kids were small. Starting with the ABC basketball. Hours of fun were spent on that ball. Brooke

I love the whole concept of LeapFrog. We haven't gotten one yet. I really hate my kids using my iphone to play games though, so we really need to look into it. For christmas maybe ;)

I think LeapFrog is such a solid brand for kids, and they are always coming up with innovative products. The Epic Tablet looks like a real winner for the holidays.
