I would like to thank Innovation First for allowing me to review their product HEXBUG in exchange of this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

The first time I heard about the HEXBUG was when my son told me all about a robotic bug that crawls around. At first, I said to him now why would you want something like that? It’s just a bug. He said mom, you should see them for yourself. I did and boy was I wrong. They are amazing!

HEXBUG made their first distribution in the U.S. through Radio Shack and now can be found in most retail stores.

One of this years hottest toys is the Nano V2 bugs and their accessories. These gravity defining robotic creatures can climb vertically, horizontal, around corners, through loops and tubes by going into the Nano V2 habitat.

To complete the habitat there is several different sets that you can purchase to make your very own creation.

Your child can start building his adventure when you first connect the tubes to the cell.  You can even build your cell to connect to another making it more fun for all.

The Nano V2 Infinity Loop is compatible with other Nano V2  sets that you may already have. It’s also great for someone who is just starting out like my son.

So I bet you are wondering how do these bugs work.  Well, each HEXBUG requires one cell button battery that is included.

With this Infinity Loop set you will receive

  • One Nano V2 bug
  • One cell base with removable walls and gates
  • Two straight tubes
  • Six curved tubes
  • Ten connectors
  • Four fixed pegs
  • Two rotating flags

They certainly are interesting to watch as they climb and move all around their habitat. One of the features that I liked about the Nano V2 was how you can have two Nano V2 bugs inside the tubes together and neither one of them gets stuck. They simply just by passes each other.

I liked how compact this set was and how it did not take up a lot of space on my table and was perfect for my son to play with.

The HEXBUG Nano V2 Infinity Loop retails for $19.99 and can be purchased online or at your local retail store.

This toy would be perfect for any children ages 3 and up. It would be a great gift during the holidays too.

Please take a moment and follow HEXBUG on facebook, twitter, pinterest and google+.

Stay tuned for your chance to win a Nano V2 Infinity Loop of your very own.
