For this recipe, I picked up pre-made French Bread from my local grocery store. I found it easier to use soft pre-made French Bread rather than a Baguette Bread. As you know, Baguette Bread already has a crusty texture which is fine but since my recipe calls for heating the bread in the oven, my preference is soft delicious French Bread.
You will also need Minced Garlic, Diced Tomatoes, Diced Green Onions, Olive Oil, Shredded Mozzarella, and Ground Black Pepper.
Take a loaf of French Bread and begin cutting it into slices. I like my bread slices on the thicker side so cutting the bread into 2″ slices would be ideal.
In a large bowl combine 1/4 cup of Olive Oil, two tablespoons of Minced Garlic, and 1/4 teaspoon of Ground Black Pepper. Begin placing your diced tomatoes inside the bowl. Toss gently.
Place your sliced French Bread on a seasoned baking sheet. With using a spoon, place your tomato mixture on each slice of bread then add your chopped Green Onions.
Sprinkle Shredded Mozzarella Cheese and bake at 450 degree-fahrenheit for 2-3 minutes or until cheese has melted and bread is crusty. Remove from oven, garish with Green Onions and enjoy warm.
