My Creamy Bow Tie Pasta is amazing with crumbled pieces of Jimmy Dean® Premium Pork Sausage and diced tomatoes. Have you tried it yet?

Creamy Bow Tie Pasta with Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage and diced fresh tomatoes is an amazing Italian dish that can be served at any time or day of the week. It’s a meal that my whole family loves and looks forward to eating. Just the other day I was speaking to my family about the school year coming to an end and how excited we were about summer vacation. I wanted to surprise them with their favorite dish; Creamy Bow Tie Pasta with Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage and diced tomatoes.

My family and I have loved Jimmy Dean products for as long as I remember! Jimmy Dean refrigerated and frozen products are staples in our home and whether we’re cooking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we always seem to be reaching for a Jimmy Dean product!  We purchase our Jimmy Dean refrigerated or frozen products from our local Publix and we’re loyal customers because we know that Jimmy Dean products always have us covered.

One of our family’s favorites is Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage. It’s perfect to serve alone at breakfast, or lunch and dinner.

For many years, Jimmy Dean Premium Sausage has been a staple to our Sunday breakfast. Honestly, our breakfast meal wouldn’t be the same without including them. Speaking of breakfast. Have you seen that Jimmy Dean® Simple Scrambles® are now available at Publix?  I couldn’t resist so I picked up a few while shopping at Publix for the ingredients that I needed for my Creamy Bow Tie Pasta recipe. I found both Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles ™ and Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage in the refrigerated aisle at Publix.

Creamy Bow Tie Pasta with Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage and diced fresh tomatoes is truly a simple but tasty meal. You would have never guessed that it only took under an hour to cook. It’s so yummy!

For this recipe you’ll need:

  • 1 package of bow tie pasta
  • 1 16oz package of Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage
  • Red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup of diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 3 plum tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • Chopped parsley (if desired)

Step 1

In a large skillet on medium high heat, pour oil and begin cooking Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage into crumbles then add pepper flakes. While your sausage is cooking take a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta for 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Continue to cook your sausage crumbles until brown.

Step 2

Stir in onion and minced garlic. Cook and stir until onion is tender. Next, add your diced tomatoes, heavy cream and sprinkle salt. Simmer for 5 minutes until mixture thickens.

Step 3

Pour your cooked pasta into your large skillet with cream sauce. Stir together until both are evenly heated. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

When I’m short on cooking ideas I know that I can always count on Jimmy Dean refrigerated and frozen products at Publix. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, there’s always room on my dinner table for Jimmy Dean products.

They certainly have had my family and I covered for many years and for many meal times. What brings us back for more of Jimmy Dean Premium Sausage is it’s fresh, all-natural premium pork with a signature blend of seasoning.

Pick some up for yourself! You can find it in the refrigerated section at your local Publix.
