This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Clamato®. The opinions and text are all mine. Long summer days are upon us. Gathering with friends and family members around the pool, beach, lake, or pond is something that we all love to do in summer. One of my favorite times of the year is planning my annual pool and backyard festivities right before the start of summer. Just think, the kids are finally out of school, the weather allows us to be outdoors more, and the best part, we can stay up past 10 pm. I know, yay for us! So while I was shopping at Publix for my party food and drink supplies, I noticed Clamato® Limón in the juice aisle. I passed the 64-oz bottle a million times before but on that day it was coming home with me. I thought of making Clamato Michelada cocktails for…

This post is sponsored by Black Creek but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.   You guys, it’s grilling season and you know what that means. Time to pull out, dust off , and get your outdoor kitchen ready. Okay, some of us might not be so lucky with having an outdoor kitchen, but it’s still time to spark up that grill and get her ready. I know for myself, grilling is something my family and I do year-round. Even when we lived up north, my gas grill would be ready to use in the middle of the snowiest winter. We loved it! That’s the fun part of grilling. Who cares, it’s all about surrounding yourself with good company and serving great food this Memorial Day weekend. But being a Florida resident, I know one thing that is for sure, when it comes to grilling, we do…

Do you celebrate Cinco De Mayo on May 5th? We always try to celebrate by hosting a few friends over with a night of good laughs, a few glasses of margaritas and of course, Mexican foods. Oh, it’s the best! Last spring my husband and I took our family to Mexico on a vacation and we absolutely loved it! We had the best time time tasting new foods, learning about the Mexican heritage,  and indulging in some adult beverages. We did learn somethings while we were there. Just like, the people of Mexico were extremely friendly and very talkative. There was time during our stay when the celebration of Cinco De Mayo was brought up. Little did I know at the time that Cinco De Mayo is celebrated quite differently here in the U.S. then in Mexico. I believe it or not, Cinco De Mayo in Mexico is…

This post was sponsored by Fresh From Florida as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central, however, all opinions expressed are my own.    When I first noticed the Fresh from Florida label on produce, it was during a shopping trip at my local Publix store. At first I didn’t give it much thought until one day at home when I was searching the internet for an ingredient in a recipe. -And that is when I started putting the puzzle together. “Wow”,  I had no idea at that time that Fresh from Florida had a website full of amazing recipes for in-season fruits and vegetables. The recipes were incredible. So needless to say, I became very fond of the website and also loved helping support my local farmers during each season. I found recipes like their Tomato and Sweet Bell Pepper Flatbread. It’s a quick and easy meal to make…

Frosted Banana Bread Bars will become one of your favorite desserts to make this Easter season! If you’re a fan of banana bread and you’re going to love this recipe. -And honestly, you haven’t lived until you had the cream cheese frosting. It’s fluffy, light, and still adds a touch of sweetness to this already scrumptious banana bread. The first time that I tried Frosted Banana Bread Bars was actually at a baby shower years ago. The mom-to-be was serving a brunch and these delicious treats were a hit. Have you tried them yet? You haven’t lived until you had a piece of these yummy bars. Seriously, you must try them. When I decided to make them for my family, I knew they would go crazy since everyone in the household is pretty crazy about banana bread. In fact, once I removed them from the oven, the whole family…

+ In all honesty, I didn’t realize how preparing meals ahead of time could be such a life-changer until recently. I’ve always thought the worse when it came to weekly meal-prepping. I gave so many different excuses and reasons why I never did it before and especially since it seems so daunting and time-consuming at first. Many of my friends have tried it numerous times to get me inspired to do it but once I did, I was hooked instantly. You guys, it saves so much time. Trust me! Preparing several meals at once and making sure that you don’t spend your entire weekend in the kitchen meal-prepping is no easy task but rest assured, once you start with a little planning, everything just falls into place. When I initially started thinking about meal prepping ideas it was to reduce time in the kitchen during the week. -And then I…

These Breakfast Banana Granola Cups are super good with your favorite yogurt. Perfect to serve for breakfast, brunch, or snack! Breakfast Banana Granola Cups are now my favorite go-to for a quick breakfast and snack. Now that the holiday season has wrapped up, we can all breath a sigh of relief. Yes we made it! It’s a brand new year with plenty of goals that need to be met. I believe that one of those goals is to eat lighter and smaller meals during the day. Which is what we all would like to aim for with jumping into the new year. I’m not sure about you but I can’t stuff another cookie, or a slice of pie in my mouth. It’s not going to happen. It’s been two months of full-blown sweets in my house and I couldn’t wait for them to disappear. In all honestly, I love sweets but…
