Since Valentine’s Day will be here soon, I couldn’t help myself by making these delicious Rice Krispie treats using my new Mickey Mouse Ears cookie cutter. It’s a fact, that each time that I visit Walt Disney World which is quite often and not to mention I’m an annual passholder “Yay” that I leave their bakery or confectionery shop with tons of ideas and of course their yummy desserts. Just last month when my family and I were at Magic Kingdom I seen this cookie cutter that was calling my name and had to get it. Let’s face it, if you ever walked into their confectionery shop on Main St you are bound to get something. Specially since it smells so heavenly in there. Don’t you agree? My husband actually said to me, Hey, let’s make Mickey Ears for the kids. I said to myself “Yes” Let’s do it!…

I don’t know about you but Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays for baking. Not just because the day is surrounded with love and appreciation but it symbolizes more than that for me. As a mom of four, February is a very busy month for us. From school parties and birthdays, we are pretty much on the go. A favorite Valentine’s treat that I like to make for my children is Oreo Pops. It’s really simple to make and takes little time to do. Like most recipes, the preparation is time consuming but once you take a bite of that delicious treat it’s all worth while.  I wouldn’t consider myself a “foodie” just a regular mom that enjoys baking special treats or desserts for my family. Sharing is caring so I am sending my love with this recipe.     You will need: One package of Oreos…

Lately, I’ve been in a baking mood maybe because Easter is near and there is so many different cake or dessert recipes available. Easter is more than a day of cooking although my children and I do have a wonderful time baking and spending time together. I have to admit, I’m not a natural born baker and normally don’t make my meals or desserts from scratch but hey my children don’t mind to say the least. I seen this cute and easy to make Easter cake on Pinterest the other day and I figured to give it a try. You will need a package of cake mix (any brand), a container of frosting (any desired flavor). You can certainly use two of each if you like a bigger cake. I used two 9″ round baking pans. Bake your cake as directed and once you have finished that step give the…

Found this yummy treat idea on Pinterest. Let me say, this spring Easter dessert was so easy to make. All you need is chocolate jello pudding or mousse, oreo cookies, orange frosting and sweetened coconut flakes . You prepare the chocolate pudding or mousse as directed from package. You can place the pudding inside a clear cup if you would like. Once you fill the cup with the desired amount of pudding then you can crush your oreo cookies then place it on top of your pudding. I crushed two cookies for every pudding cup that I made. Once I completed that step, I used orange frosting to make a pumpkin with a frosting tool that I own. For the stems, I used coconut flakes and used green mist spray. The green mist spray is actual food coloring so it’s safe to consume. I heard that there is green coconut…
