Looking for tips on How to Save Money with DIY Brakes? Your brake system on your Jeep Wrangler is an essential element of safety for your drive, whether you are out in the back roads or on the civilized payment. Brakes will need to be replaced anywhere from 35,000 to 65,000 miles, depending on the type of brake pads and rotors on the vehicle and on the type of driving you to do. Calm drivers who look ahead and avoid slamming on the brakes can coax an extra few thousand miles out of brakes.   A brake pad replacement is not super complicated, and the more you do it the easier it will get. The essential steps are as follows: • Wear some safety equipment such as thick gloves, and goggles • Remove the wheel. • Raise the car safely so you can work beneath it. • Detach the bolts and…

All opinions are mine alone. #PAWsomeGifts #ClausAndPaws #CollectiveBias   In this household, we believe in Santa Paws. That’s right, Santa never forgets our dog Chloe. In fact, I am not sure who is more excited to see their stocking Christmas morning the kids or our dog. Needless to say, Santa loves pets too! I can’t say that I blame him, I am crazy about my dog Chloe. She is my baby that is for sure. Super spoiled and ever so loved by my whole family and is definitely on Santa’s nice list this year and here is why. Last year we found out that Chloe has a medical condition that can not be treated without the help of surgery. Let me tell you, I was so devastated to hear this news. After having an ultrasound done,…

I can’t believe it’s only a few weeks away. It was just the other day I was speaking to my neighbor about Halloween. Her family recently moved here and was a bit concerned about what to do for Halloween. She was asking me how things were done here in Florida, but mostly in our subdivision. As a former northerner I had no idea what to expect either when we first moved, so I could totally relate to some of her concerns. Back home, we didn’t have subdivisions we had streets that our children could walk up and down and trick or treat, but here it’s different. Oh yes, we do have streets in our cozy neighborhood but it’s hard to know who is…

Still looking for that perfect Mother’s Day gift? Many will agree, purchasing a gift for mom is not as easy as one thinks. This I know for a fact! Between knowing what she needs, wants or already has, can be overwhelming. I’ve always enjoyed giving my mom personal and creative gifts. Sometimes we have to think out of the box and make them something special but in the back of our minds, we still ponder what.  One thing is for sure, Moms deserve it all! Now don’t get me wrong, I still love receiving the simple gifts from my children. From homemade cards to even those re-wrapped gifts from last year, it truly is the thought that counts especially coming from our children. These days, moms are unselfish. We put the needs of others before our own. We’re so busy multi-tasking and juggling our duties that our needs come…

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #ShareTheJoyOfPie #CollectiveBias The Holiday seasons are upon us! Yippee! I’m so excited! I’ve been so busy planning for our family Thanksgiving trip and even more so, motivated to start cooking. Being away from my family during the Holidays can be difficult. It’s been five years since the last time we were together so you can only imagine the excitement that is building up. For the past three years, my family and I along with our neighbors, get together before the Holiday season starts. It’s a fun night where we swap pies and even desserts. It’s similar to an ornament swap but totally edible. During our pie swapping, each family chooses a number and the one with the lowest number will pick any pie or dessert they want. It’s a barrel full of laughs!…
