I am more in love with Classic Ranch Dressing than every before. For many reasons but mostly it brings out a superior taste in my Buffalo Chicken Flaky Cups. Most readers will agree that Classic Ranch Dressing is a must have for your salads but what if I told you that I used Classic Ranch Dressing from Naturally Fresh® as an ingredient in my recipe. You Guys, you will not believe this tasty flavor until you try it. It’s super creamy and gives a jaw-dropping result after just one bite.
Just the other day while shopping at Publix, I was deciding on what to make for game day this past weekend. I wanted to serve something fresh and spicy but mild enough for all my guests to enjoy it. Let’s face it, we all love finger foods during the Big Game and delicious foods are a huge part of celebrating. In all honesty, who wants to spend all day in the kitchen cooking. Not me. I wanna enjoy the game with my friends and family. That is when I thought about my Buffalo Chicken Flaky Cups. I’ve made them before and my family went bananas over them. It’s a simple appetizer recipe that you could prepare ahead of time then reheat when your company arrives. They’re also a delicious meal to serve during the week too!
Naturally Fresh® can be found in the refrigerated section in the produce department at most grocery stores. In their products, you will taste the ingredients such in their Classic Ranch. It’s made with Naturally’s Fresh® own Buttermilk. So creamy and fresh!
They also have a variety of flavors like Bleu Cheese, lite dressings such as Lite Ranch and Lite Bleu Cheese.
As we know, many foods on store shelves contain artificial flavors and coloring which changes the way our foods taste and it’s appearance. It also changes and prolongs the shelf life of the product.
Naturally Fresh® refrigerated dressings are different. Their products taste great because they use the best ingredients and leave out artificial preservatives, colors and flavors.
They do not use artificial thickeners to make up texture that should come from real ingredients.
You will not find Monosodium glutamate (MSG), an artificial flavor enhancer nor any artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors in their products. That’s why you’ll only find Naturally Fresh® products in the refrigerated section.
That is when I knew that I found the perfect ingredient and choice for my recipe. I grabbed a few bottles of Classic Ranch and the rest of my ingredients before heading home.
I started preparing my recipe by cutting two pieces of boneless chicken breast into small pieces. On medium to low heat, I placed in one tablespoon of butter and one tablespoon of minced garlic into my skillet then added the chicken. While the chicken was cooking, I began to chop a half cup of scallions then placed it aside in a bowl.
As the chicken was cooking and turning white, I added three tablespoons of cream cheese to my recipe. I continued to stir until the cream cheese was melted. Next, I added the scallions and two tablespoons of delicious Naturally Fresh® Classic Ranch Dressing with the chicken mixture.
At this point, the aroma is making it quite tempting for a taste. It smells so unbelievably good!
While your chicken is still simmering, add two tablespoons of your favorite Buffalo Wing Sauce. -And Presto, you got yourself one tasty Buffalo Chicken mixture! Doesn’t it look so good? It’s full of delicious Naturally Fresh® Ranch creamy flavor.
When making my Buffalo Chicken Flaky Cups I used store bought pastry sheets. You can find these in the freezer section at your local grocery store.
Once the dough was cut in squares, I placed them into a muffin pan. I wanted my Buffalo Chicken Flaky Cups to be larger than a normal cupcake size so using a muffin pan worked fantastically. Feel free to add a little flour on the pan.
First, I placed two tablespoons of Buffalo Chicken mixture into the dough. You want to make sure that the mixture is to the top of your muffin pan. Sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack Cheese and scallions on top. Next, you’ll take each corner and bring it towards the middle. Doing so keeps your mixture covered.
Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes on 400 degrees.
Hint: In a bowl, crack one egg then add one teaspoon of water together. Whisk well. Brush egg mixture on each Buffalo Chicken Cup to give them a golden flaky brown crust.
