Oh, My Goodness! You’re in for a special treat. Just the other day I was craving something fierce and I didn’t want to go overboard with chocolate although, what I wanted was something healthy and was totally in the mood for strawberries. Juicy, ripe strawberries. Doesn’t that sound good? I sat and pondered what to make and a thought came into mind. How about Strawberry Shortcake Parfaits? I know the kids would love it because they go nuts over anything with strawberries in it. -Plus, nothing says bring on Summer more than Strawberry Shortcake Parfaits. Don’t you agree?
It’s one of our favorites and I don’t mind making them for my family one bit. Strawberry Shortcake Parfaits are so fresh and delicious! They truly are my downfall and my kids feel the same way. It’s just something about the goodness within each bite that makes me love it even more. Especially if it’s made with organic yogurt. So creamy just like Annie’s Homegrown Organic Whole Milk Yogurt.
So when I thought about making them for my family, I remembered that I needed to run over to Publix to grab my ingredients. That is when I saw the New Annie’s Homegrown Summer Strawberry Organic Whole Milk Yogurt. I couldn’t resist because we love Annie’s and seeing that special price in the Extra Savings Mother’s Day Flyer for two for $5, it wasn’t hard to decide since it was a great deal.
Have you ever tried Annie’s Homegrown yogurt before? The kids love it for snacks, breakfast, and even adults love it for lunch. Unlike other organic brands on the market, Annie’s understands that kids still want their foods to be tasty and fun. That is why as a parent I love purchasing Annie’s products for my children because their foods taste so yummy and the best part, they’re healthy.
Annie’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt is now available in Summer Strawberry and Berry Patch. Since this is a new yogurt product from Annie’s, I highly suggest that you pick up both to try. Trust me, they will not disappoint.
Each flavor is made with organic whole milk and organic fruit. You will not find artificial flavors, synesthetic colors or preservatives. Each 4oz serving size contains only 100 calories.
First, I began by slicing my store bought Pound Cake then cutting each slice into bite-sized squares. Depending on the size of your glass or cup will determine how much you will need. For my goblet, I used two slices to fill two layers.
-And of course, if you plan on using a larger cup or trifle bowl, then feel free to use whatever amount you desire.
After the Pound Cake is cut into small squares, place each one inside your glass. Start adding spoonfuls of Annie’s Organic Summer Strawberry Whole Milk Yogurt on top of your cake until covered. Next, layer your strawberry halves on top of your yogurt. Repeat these steps twice so your parfait will be layered.
Grab your whipped cream can and cover your toppings completely then place a strawberry on top.
Do you know what was a nice surprise when the kids opened up Annie’s Summer Strawberry container?
A sweet message that said, “Some Bunny Loves You”. How adorable is that? Seeing that lovely message actually made my heart smile and the kids loved it too! It just goes to show you how Annie’s feels about the children and adults who enjoy their organic foods.
