My son is in the third grade and as much as I thought he does well in math, he really needs some extra help. Things have certainly changed since I was a third grader. The way my son is being taught about math in school is totally remarkable although when I was his age, I was shown differently which makes it harder for me and I’m sure other parent will agree, to understand the logic.
That is why I am glad to have found out about the Splash Math App on iTunes. It certainly makes learning about math so much fun for children.
Splash Math Apps are now available for children in grades 1st through 5th. They also have a Preschool and Kindergarten version to help advance the young ones.
The Splash Math for grades 1st-5th allows your child to practice math problems that are similar to the common core standards in schools. The app not only reinforces what is being taught in school but it’s self paced. I really like that my son can progress at his leisure.
What’s great about apps like these is your children don’t even realized it’s a learning tool because they are having so much fun. I will admit, I usually don’t let my children play on my i-Pad although when fun educational apps like these are available, I certainly don’t mind at all.
