Can you believe school is starting already? Where did the summer go? It surely went by fast specially for us. Now is the time where life gets more hectic specially for me. Between dropping off my son at college and racing back to pick up my younger ones in elementary. In between volunteering at school, after school sporting events, helping with homework and trying to make an effortless meal for a family of six. I certainly don’t want to stand in a kitchen after a long day and cook. I am sure you would agree.
I love making quick meals that allows me to still enjoy my evenings with my family. On those nights, family time is important so creating easy meals that I know the kids will love is what I do.
So finding a quick meal that not only my kids will love but affordable for my families size is a no brainier. You really can’t go wrong with a Marketside Pizza. The cheese and pepperoni pizzas are oozing with flavor. Are you ready for the best part? Takes less than 15 minutes to cook. Talk about convenience! Another great effortless meal at Walmart is the Rotisserie Chicken with two sides like potato salad, cole slaw and a 2 liter of Coca-Cola. A Quick and Easy dinner that is served in little time.
Next time your at Walmart, head over to the deli and grab yourself a freshly made oven ready pizza and a 2-liter of Coke. The two pair up for a great dinner at home. You know what’s even better, I was able to find the Walmart effortless meals by the sign hanging right over these fresh Marketplace Pizzas at the deli department. I was in and out of the store in no time. It really makes shopping quicker.
One of my favorites to compliment a fresh Marketplace pizza is my homemade Parmesan Cheese & Garlic Breadsticks. These delicious twisty breadsticks are the yummiest with fresh Buschetta.
We just love how the flavor of Buschetta just explodes with the parmesan cheese and garlic. It’s perfect!
These soft and garlic buttery golden breadsticks are a hit with my family. In fact, I owe my mom many thanks for introducing us to this fabulous recipe. I remember going over to my moms and her making a few batches with her dinner. Needless to say, they wouldn’t last long as plenty of times we had a few on our plate.
For this recipe I used oven ready dough to make the breadsticks. The reason, it’s much easier and less time consuming to wait for the dough to rise AND- Did I mention Easy? Oh yes, with not a lot of time to spare in the evenings, self rising dough is awesome!
When you pull these out of the oven all you can smell is baked garlic bread, Full of butter and parmesan cheese. So DELICIOUS!
