New Medication Reminder Medisafe

I received compensation for my work on this campaign.

This post was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own.

m-logo colors taglineMedisafe was founded by two brothers who decided to create an app to help manage their father’s health and medication better. Their mission was to make Medisafe an app that helps you stay on top of your health, medications and to be an overall health companion to it’s users.

Medisafe is the leading app to help and remind you to stay on top of all of your medications. It’s like a digital pill organizer but more! It makes life easier to stay on routine without missing your medication schedule. No more worrying if you took your medications on time. It certainly gives you some piece of mind when life gets hectic.

Your medication reminders can be easily added. You can add the type of medications, strengths, daily dose and more!

This app allows you to connect with your family and (soon to be) your doctors for support, encouragement and expertise.

You can even ask for a family member to get a notice if you forget to take your medications on time. These notifications can be customized and delivered to your device even for appointments, refills, medication updates and  personalized health recommendations. Medisafe  offers discounts to help you stay in control of your spending when on a budget.

The Medisafe app correlates your progress with measurements like blood pressure and glucose levels to show the direct health benefit of taking your medications as prescribed.

Medisafe brings peace of mind to the 2 million people who use it – as well as the people who care about them.

The Medisafe app is now available for your IOS and Android devices. You can visit your i-Tunes account and Google Play Store to download your free Medisafe app.

This is really a great idea if they keep it updated! As an ER nurse, we need a current list of medications with dosages and number of times a day and this could be such a help
  • Amanda

This is such a great idea for an app, since it can be very challenging staying on top of different medications. Hopefully I won't have to use it soon, though, since I prefer to stay healthy.
  • Lisa

What a great app. I really like that it can notifies a family member if you skip a dose. This would be a great way to keep up with family members and their medications.
  • Ashley

What an awesome app! I was a mental health counselor for many years and something like this could prove invaluable for those who have trouble remembering their daily regimens. I'll definitely be recommending it to my friends still in the field, thank you!
  • Alli

What a great app for people who have to take daily meds. I like that it reminds you and you can add a family member to get a notice, too. Great tool!
  • Bri

This is such a useful app in this day and age. I know a handful of people who could greatly benefit from having a daily reminder to take their medication.
  • Jessica Harlow

I think this is brilliant! My Mom was taking a bunch of different medications before she passed away and she did a good job of keeping that information to herself. None of us knew what or how much she was taking and that would have been really helpful to help her monitor her health.

As much as we'd like to think we're always on top of it, it can be tricky and we can easily get confused. This is a much better way of tracking it.
  • Jeanine

This is a really fantastic idea. I could t ally use this for my migraine meds I take nightly. I can't even count the number of time I'm half asleep to realize I forgot my meds or sit and wonder did I take them or??? Drives me nuts.
  • Angie

This is fantastic! As a Dental Hygienist, I would love it if some of my patients had something like this. It would make things so much easier on everybody!
  • Jennifer

I can see this being a great tool for children, too, who can easily get distracted and forget to take their medications. Much more reliable than setting timers.
