Thank you Michael Angelo’s for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to try a new meal. However, any opinions expressed by me are honest and reflect my actual experience.
When we think of New Year’s resolutions, I believe we all have every intention of reaching our goals. Especially with those that require a watchful eye on what we eat. But, things happen. Sometimes eating from a strict diet, balancing our calories and even shopping for the right foods might cause us to decide that it’s not for them. -And. you know what? That’s ok!
Learning how to change your eating habits can be frustrating especially when you have a family to feed and not much time in the kitchen to cook. Looking for a premade meal might not be on your menu to serve, but what if I told you Michael Angelo’s frozen meals have real ingredients in their products. You won’t find any artificial flavors, preservatives or filters that are normally found in most frozen meals on the market. They believe “less is amore” with their Authentic Italian Foods and believe me, you can taste the difference.
Michael Angelo’s makes it so convenient for busy moms like us to provide our families delicious meals to serve even on those busy nights. You know the best part? It’s right from their kitchen to your table in minutes. How can you go wrong with that? You truly can’t.
I’ll be honest, I’ve tried Michael Angelo’s Lasagna with Meat Sauce in the past and it was a family favorite but this time around, I wanted to try something different. So when I was shopping at my local Publix store the other day I decided on Michael Angelo’s Chicken Piccata. It’s a Meal Starter that would be perfect to serve with pasta of any kind. I will admit, I’ve never had Chicken Piccata before but after learning that Michael Angelo’s Chicken Piccata has a butter sauce with artichokes, diced tomatoes, capers, and a dash of lemon juice and garlic, I couldn’t resist.
Shut the front door!!! Why haven’t I picked up this meal before now? After one tasty bite of this Italian meal, I asked myself how could I have missed this. I’ve been missing out big time and so hasn’t my family.
I first began by taking the frozen Chicken Piccata entree out of the box then placing it in an oven safe baking dish. Even although you can also cook it in the microwave oven, I prefer the conventional oven. But either way, would work just fine.
As directed on the box, I preheated my oven to 400 degrees then placed the entree on cookie sheet.
Bake for 40-45 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes then serve. Pretty simple right?
Doesn’t this entree look amazing? The chicken breast was so tender and flavorful. It just melts in your mouth. Now, this is a meal that you can serve to your family or even to yourself when the kids aren’t home and want to treat yourself to a delicious Italian meal.
Honestly, you would never have known this entree was once frozen. It tastes just as good as it smells too. Just ask my children. They came running in the kitchen to see what I was cooking. Even my dog came over to see what the commotion was going on in the kitchen.
Needless to say, this is the type of meal that brings the family together especially easy for us moms to serve on those busy nights.
