Living here in Florida is like a dream come true. The weather is perfect almost year round. Your surrounded by our beautiful palm trees and white sandy beaches. It’s picture perfect! There is no snow or chilly days for us here. For the past four years, Central Florida is the place that I call home. Living so close to theme parks and Orlando’s Top Attractions is one that some only can dream. I will admit, it got our attention enough to move here.
Prior to moving here, we traveled to Florida twice a year for vacations with our children. We always had a blast visiting the beaches, theme parks and hotels. It was actually on our last vacation trip that made us decide it was time for a change. In all honestly, each time we left Florida we questioned each other why we must leave. For us, it’s breathtaking! Needless to say, it took us less than 3 months to find a home, pack up our things and drive to sunny Florida.
Of course there is more to Florida than Disney World. There is lots to see and do. In the years that we spent here we also got a chance to visit other wonderful areas in the state of Florida. We have been to the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast, aquariums, boating in the Keys, taking cruises right out of Miami and Orlando. We specially enjoyed our time visiting Ft. Lauderdale and it’s surrounding areas during our recent road trip.
One of things that I’ve learned about living in Central Florida is it’s full of tourist. Don’t get me wrong, Central Florida is the Mecca for family travel and people from all over the world flock to Florida for the warm sunshine and fun attractions but it’s beginning to change the way I think.
When my family and I visited Ft. Lauderdale over the summer we couldn’t believe the beautiful homes we seen for sale specially near the Hillsboro Mile area.
Oh my! My mouth dropped. These beach front homes totally took my breath away. I couldn’t believe how much space these homes had and the land that surrounded them. Unlike the homes in my area which has little footage around the property and homes that are too close to each other, these gorgeous beach homes had plenty.
That is why my husband and I have decided that the Hillsboro Mile area in Ft. Lauderdale would be a place for our family. Of course, there are many great neighborhoods in Ft. Lauderdale but this one takes it. It’s what I would call, living in paradise year round.
Imagine living right on the beach and waking up each morning to see that panoramic view. It’s a slice of heaven I’ll tell ya.
Hillsboro Mile is known to locals as Hillsboro Beach. This small town is boarded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterways on the west. When your there, you will also see The Hillsboro Lighthouse which is enriched with the towns history.
Just a beautiful spot to vacation or call home.
