I am sure that most of my readers have heard of the brand Ninja. They are known for having the best blenders and small appliances. Being that I never owned a product by Ninja until now I couldn’t wait to review it.
When I heard from family and friends about their own experience with Ninja blenders I could understand why they went on and on about it.
Before now I thought well, it’s just a blender. What makes this brand so special?
Well I gotta tell ya, I know exactly what my family and friends were talking about now. This is the ultimate and most powerful blender I’ve ever owned . Period!
Because the Ultima Blender by Ninja has a pro variable speed, it replaces other appliances like hand mixers, juicers, ice or meat crushers, cheese graters and so much more!
Only Ninja can offer you their dual staging blending with it’s total crushing blades that rotate around at 5,000 RPM. This total crushing comes in handy when your crushing nuts, seeds, vegetables, ice and whole fruit. The bottom blades has high speed cyclonic technology at 24,000 RPM. With both these blades working together, you will get the best power and provides the smoothest results. I enjoyed learning about these two blades and how they serve difference purposes when creating recipes.
Being that the Ninja Ultima cost one-third less than their competitor brand Vitamix model 750 and offers more features like Nutri Ninja Blending, Total Crushing Technology, Dual Stage Blending and has an XL 72 ounce capacity makes it the number one and most powerful professional blender available.
Setting up the Ninja Ultima Blender is fairly simple. To start, you must lock the pitcher onto the motor base. If you do it incorrectly the blender will not turn on. Which is a fantastic safety feature to have because we all know accidents do happen. Above the start and stop lever there is an indicator light that will flash if not place on correctly. Once the blender is locked in place you are ready to go. This Ninja Ultima Blender also includes two Nutri Ninja Cups which is great when you like to take your foods or drinks on the go. Another accessory included is a single server cup with a built in blade. It’s equal in size as seen in the full size blender.
The control panel is located right on the front of the motor base. As you can see from the pictures above this pro blender has 10 speeds plus you can access the pulse lever. I think having the control panel on the front gives you more control of the speeds instantly. With a quick turn of the speed knob, you can change, increase or decrease all speeds within seconds. No push button speeds over here! It’s only full release power.
One of the recipes from Ninja that my family and I was dying to try was their Apple Pie Smoothie. Being that the season of fall is here, it’s was a great time to use some of the apples we picked from apple picking recently. So I knew that the Apple Pie Smoothie recipe would be ideal for us to enjoy. When your visiting the Ninja’s website you can find great recipes in the category of which Ninja blender you already own. It was easy to find all the Ninja Ultima recipes. In fact, they have such a great selection that I can not wait to try them all!
Preparing our Apple Pie Smoothie was quite easy and the only time that was really spent preparing was cutting and coring the apples. Other than that, it was pretty quick!
Here is the instructions that I went by to make this delicious and healthy smoothie!
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 pinches nutmeg
2 pinches salt
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 cups ice
- Place the Top Blades in the Ninja Ultima Pitcher and add all of the ingredients in the order listed.
- PULSE 3 times. Select Speed 10 and flip the switch to START. Blend for 45 seconds or until smooth. Taste and adjust spices as desired.
- Garnish top of smoothies or glass rim with cookie or graham cracker crumbs.
Overall, the Ninja Ultima Blender has me believing what I have been missing over these years. Honestly, it’s my go to blender that I can not take my hands off of it. I am ready and willing to try just about anything just so I have a chance to use it again. The power of the Ninja Ultima blows away any other blender that I have owned. It certainly makes my life so much easier in the kitchen. I go to grab the handle of the pitcher and my husband says what are you making today? Yes! The Ninja has me motivated! Looking forward to trying new recipes during the holidays too! This is your ultimate blender and without a doubt is built to last.
