When it comes to places that make me and my family smile, I can’t think of a better place than Walt Disney World®. Being a Floridian, you would think that we would get tired of spending our time or vacations there. Totally not the case. We love it! Especially when I live so close to the theme parks. How close do you ask? So close that I can see and hear the nightly fireworks from my home. My children are extremely lucky I must say. Not only are we annual passholders but my children also visit Walt Disney World for school field trips. How insanely awesome is that?
Imagine just hoping over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom park for a field trip? Yup, my kids have it pretty good. Visitors come from around the world to visit the Happiest Place on Earth – Disney World®.
But when I think about all the fun and memories shared at the Disney World® Resort it’s not hard for us to admit to our favorites. We love each of the parks equally and for many reasons of course.
The Magic Kingdom® Park at Walt Disney World® is where I think, the imagination begins. I can’t think of a time visiting this park that I didn’t feel like a child again. Watching my children’s eyes light up from meeting Princess characters like Belle, and Cinderella then riding their favorite attractions certainly makes me feel like a kid again.
Did you know that Dumbo the Flying Elephant® attraction has been a Magic Kingdom® Park favorite since the park first opened in 1971 in California? Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida has now doubled the fun!
Along with the Magic Kingdom® Park at the Walt Disney World® Resort, you can visit the Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, Epcot® and the Disney Springs™ Area.
While visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park it’s a must to stop by the Kilimanjaro Safaris® Expedition. You’ll view first hand how these animals live. Also, Do you know what the biggest animal in height is in the Disney Animal Kingdom® Theme park? I bet you’re thinking the giraffe? But, the biggest all-round creature you’ll see, by far, is the elephant.
With so many new changes coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, Did you know that the ambitious plans to bring Star Wars to life in Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort include creating Disney’s largest single-themed land expansions ever at 14-acres each? Come find out what this new land is for here.
Epcot® has always been a family favorite. Did you know that Epcot® was the second theme park to be built in the Walt Disney World® Resort and there is 5.7 million gallons of water in the Caribbean Coral Reef aquarium in Epcot®?
So as you can see, there is so much to do and see while visiting the Disney World® Resort. Here is a fun fact: Did you know there are over 1,000 Hidden Mickeys at Walt Disney World® Resort? Do you want to know where one of them is? You can find out here.
Unbelievable facts right? Do you know what else is amazing? You have a chance to win a Disney World® Resort Vacation.
