I love this time of the year when all we can think of is; tasty victory recipes that will make game day even more fun! Yes, I’m talking simple recipes that is always a fan favorite.
Today, I bring to you three quick recipes that you’re going to love serving your football game day quests. Let’s face it, football season is coming to an end. I know, can you believe it? If feels like the football season just started. You can go wrong with simple recipes for game day. I’m a football fan myself and I honestly hate spending extra time in the kitchen while everyone else is routing and cheering on our favorite team play. Not only do I miss important plays of the game but I end up loosing my favorite seat to watch the big game on t.v.

Your football fans will love my Southwestern Chicken Wrap. Made with chunks of Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips, yellow rice and beans, an extra large burrito wrap, garden fresh vegetables like (sliced tomatoes, and jalapeno peppers), cilantro, and sliced black olives. Don’t let this simple sandwich get in hands to your guests too quickly because after one bite, you might be losing your sandwich to them. All jokes aside, making this sandwich can take a minimum of 20 minutes of your time and with that said, it’s time to get your game day celebration on!
Let’s get started!
Preheat your oven according to the Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips package. In the meantime, begin slicing one jalapeno pepper, and tomatoes. For this recipe, I used roma tomatoes but you can use what you have on hand. I also added yellow corn kernels, sliced black olives, and chopped cilantro.
Since Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips are fully cooked, you have multiple ways to make them. Such as in the oven, or microwave. I will demonstrating both in my Southwestern Chicken Wrap and Buffalo Chicken Naan Pizza.
First, I prepared my yellow rice and beans in a rice cooker. Next, I heated one bag of Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips in the oven then began to stuff my Southwestern Chicken Wraps.
Adding rice and beans, Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips cut in pieces, then topped it with roma tomato slices, sliced black olives, jalapeno slices and sprinkled chopped cilantro.
Another must-have recipe on game day is Buffalo Chicken Naan Pizza. Talk about an easy recipe. Short on time? Just place the Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips in the microwave for only a few minutes. Naan bread is the perfect foundation in building this pizza. My family absolutely loves it!
Just take your favorite buffalo or hot sauce and spread it on top of the naan bread. Add chopped slices of Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips and pizza cheese.
Pop it in the oven for 5 minutes on 400 degrees and you got yourself the most delicious meal to serve on game day. You truly can’t beat a meal that takes 7 minutes in total to make.

- Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips
- Buffalo or hot sauce
- Naan Bread
- Pizza Cheese
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
- Begin by placing Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips in the microwave. (according to package)
- Remove Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips from microwave and chop in pieces.
- Take one naan bread and spread buffalo sauce on it.
- Add chopped pieces of Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips and pizza cheese of choice.
- Bake in the oven for five minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve hot.
Now, don’t count out the kids on game day meals. My children are huge fans of football and making their favorite traditions like State Fair ®Classic Corn Dogs are a staple to serve them on game day.
