Let’s talk entertaining at home with Kraft Natural Shredded Cheese. Just the other day while in an conversation with my husband, he springs up and says, “You know some of my friends from back home are in town and I invited them over for dinner”. Yes ladies, I did a double take and wanted to look at him with not only two but three heads but I didn’t. I just looked around the house and thought, I guess he doesn’t see the dishes in the sink, the laundry piled up and the Christmas decorations still in boxes on the floor. Instead, I replied to him and asked when are they coming? Luckily, I had a whole day to get my house in order before our guests arrived but I will say, there was not one drop of sweat left in me.
As many of you will agree, when hosting a gathering at your home you want your guests to feel welcomed and specially around the Holiday season. For me, when I’m entertaining at my home, I like to spend time socializing rather than in the kitchen hours before their arrival and of course who wants to make more of a mess to clean.
So after my husband told me about our guests coming, I headed to Walmart to see what I could pull together in a days time. As I was thinking while shopping, (which is hard to do with kids in tow) Haha I thought of my Cream Cheese Chili Explosion Dip . I’ve served it once before and it was a huge hit then so why not now. -And it’s a bonus win-win for me because it takes little to no time to make. I grabbed a package of my favorite Kraft Natural Mild Cheddar Shredded Cheese, Philadelphia Cream Cheese and the rest of my ingredients before heading home.

When you want to serve something warm and right out of the oven, then this recipe is it. It’s just oozing with melted Kraft Natural Cheeses! My Cream Cheese Explosion Dip is one that will keep your guests close by. Heck, you might even need to make an extra to have on hand so you can enjoy it after your guests leave.
With only three simple ingredients needed, this three layered cheesy dip is made in a flash. First I began by cutting the cream cheese in half then in small squares. By doing so, it gives more of an equal spread when baked in your dish. Next, I poured a full can of store bought chili on top of the cream cheese. A quick easy tip: when pouring the chilli, make sure the ingredients covers your cream cheese completely. Spread it evenly so it will melt and blend well together. Lastly, add one and half cups of Kraft Natural Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese on top of your chili.
Didn’t I tell you it was simple? So simple that it’s silly. Even though this recipe is quick, your quests will think differently. The taste from the cream cheese, melted shredded cheese and chili is unbelievable!
I will admit when my husband first said that he invited his friends over, I was a bit worried. Although serving my Cream Cheese Chili Explosion Dip before dinner, I was able to save time before entertaining. Using Kraft Natural Shredded Cheese in my recipe made a world of difference in taste. Our guests loved it!
