College can be such a wonderful experience as you learn and move forward in that next step to further your education and career. My son Josh is now in his sophomore year in college and to be quite honest he loves it. Josh has quickly learned that College is night and day from those days of attending high school. There are no second chances and his college professors will agree.
Taking five classes in his first semester year had him strapped for not much time to do anything else. He spent endless hours studying for exams and labs. At one point, I could see how burnt out he was getting but he was so committed and determined to finish his first college freshman year. I will admit when I did see him, he looked so tired and always hungry. I even said to him on several occasions did you eat breakfast or have lunch at school and of course his response was I had something light or I didn’t have time to cook before my classes. There has also been times that he would call me and say that he has the worse headache and asked what he should be take the pain away. See, no matter how old your children get, they still call and ask mom for advice. One thing that is so important for your child to have while away is an essential kit. Those on hand remedies certainly helps at any given time while away.
Thankfully, he is off to a better semester this year since he is now only taking four classes but he is still lacking that much needed sleep at night and energy during the day.
So after my last phone call from my son, I decided that I would make him an essential kit to use while he was away from home. During my shopping trip at Walmart, I picked up Advil Liqui-Gels, Robitussin Multi Symptom Cough Cold + Flu and Centrum Gummies. My son is constantly on the go so having these products on hand will keep him in better health each day.
Along with Centrum Multi Gummies, Robitussin Multi Symptom Cough Cold + Flu and Advil Liqui-Gels, I also packed him those necessaries that he wouldn’t think of like tissues and cotton swabs. As all moms know, when we are sick tissues and swabs are much needed too!
Being that my son complains often about his aches and pains from those long nights of studying, Advil Liqui-Gels will subdue any joint pain, muscle aches and even headaches that he has. I’ve always been a believer of the Liqui-Gels as they provide fast relief when used as directed. In my opinion, nothing’s faster on tough pain (among OTC pain relievers).
These days, my son is also not eating healthy. The meals he makes or orders for himself are quick or light meals. He certainly needs to increase his vitamins daily so that is why my second choice of must have essentials is Centrum MultiGummy vitamins. These gummy chewables provides 100% of daily value or more of Vitamins D, B12, and E.
They provide support with energy, immunity, and metabolism which is perfect for a college student. Centrum MultiGummy is gluten-free and contains no wheat, milk, soy, egg, peanut, tree nuts, fish or shellfish. It’s a gummy multi-benefit vitamin that you can take daily.
Another must have product for your College Essential Kit is Robitussin Multi Symptom Cough Cold + Flu . The Flu season is upon us and like many, we never know when it will effect our families. So be prepared with Robitussin Multi Symptom Cough Cold + Flu. It gives powerful relief for your worst cough and cold symptoms! Now available in a better tasting formula (compared to Robitussin Multi-Symptom Cold CF Max).
I’ve shared my ideas about what to include in an College Essentials kit, I’d love to hear about yours!
